CAPO All-Star Matinee in Support of
Ottawa Blues For Youth

We raised over $3,500 to support our youth at the first ever CAPO All-Star Matinee!

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Ted Carty, a friend of OBFY, put on a CAPO All-Star Matinee Fundraiser in support of Ottawa Blues for Youth. The Capital’s Professional Open Mic (CAPO) brings together members of the Ottawa Business Community for an event of networking and performance in support of organizations that help our community. This exciting and entertaining matinee was held at Irene’s Pub, our favourite local pub and longtime OBFY supporter.

CAPO performers are members of the business community and lovers of music. By day they are professionals, administrators, consultants, executives, entrepreneurs and trade masters. By night they are singers, bands, musicians and songwriters. Some are first timers, some are grizzled vets. OBFY alum Mason Hartwick also joined us on stage!

There were also be door prizes, a raffle to have your name appear in the next Hunter and Tate mystery novel by local author Brenda Chapman, and a 50/50 draw.

Thank you for coming out to join us!
